Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the also works platform, including our Shopify application, website (alsoworks.io), and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including merchants who install our Shopify app and their end customers who interact with also works features on merchant storefronts.
2. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must install the also works Shopify app through the Shopify App Store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and any credentials associated with your use of the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscription & Billing
also works offers the following subscription plans: • Starter — Free, includes 500 actions per billing cycle • Growth — $29/month, includes 5,000 actions per billing cycle • Pro — $79/month, includes 25,000 actions per billing cycle • Scale — $199/month, includes unlimited actions Subscriptions are billed monthly through the Shopify billing system. Plan changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
4. Actions & Usage
"Actions" are the usage unit across the also works platform. An action is consumed each time a feature of the Service is invoked, including but not limited to AI sizing requests, model recognition scans, product analysis operations, customer enrichment processes, recommendation generation, and AI photoshoot renders. Usage is tracked per billing cycle and resets at the start of each new cycle. If you exceed the action limit on your current plan, additional actions may be restricted until you upgrade or your cycle resets.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service • Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without prior written consent • Use the Service to process data unrelated to your Shopify store operations • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, algorithms, models, designs, text, graphics, and documentation, is the intellectual property of also works and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
7. Data & Privacy
We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as outlined therein. Merchant data, including product images, customer body measurements, and purchase history, is processed to deliver the Service and is not sold to third parties. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, also works and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to also works in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
9. Termination
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the also works Shopify app and canceling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Shopify app dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
