Customer measurement data — Body measurements submitted through our sizing tool. Body scans are processed entirely in the browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Browsing behavior — Interactions with our widget and your storefront, including page views, product views, sizing events, and purchase activity, used to build customer profiles and improve recommendations.

Account information — Store name, email address, and Shopify store URL provided during installation.

Website visitors — When you visit alsoworks.io, we collect standard web analytics data such as page views, referral source, and device type.

With you — All customer and product data generated through our app is accessible to you as the merchant. Your data stays yours.

Service providers — We use third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, AI model providers) to operate our services. These providers process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations.

Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

We do not share customer measurement data or personally identifiable customer information with other merchants or third parties for their own purposes.

Product and customer profile data is stored on secured, encrypted infrastructure. We apply industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

Body scan images are processed entirely on the customer’s device using client-side AI. Raw scan images are never uploaded to our servers. Only the resulting measurements are transmitted and stored.

We retain merchant data for the duration of the app installation plus 30 days after uninstallation, after which it is deleted. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained longer.

Our app integrates with Shopify through their official APIs. During installation, you authorize specific access scopes that allow us to read product data, customer data, and order information necessary to provide our services.

We comply with Shopify’s API terms of service and data protection requirements. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.

Our use and transfer of information received from Shopify APIs adheres to Shopify’s API License and Terms of Use.
